Merchandise damaged in transit will result in an unhappy customer and plenty of headaches for the seller. Your job is to guarantee the item is not damaged in transit. Use plenty of buffering (don't scrimp on bubble wrap, foam core, packing peanuts, etc.) And remember, the first thing the buyer will see is the box. Give your box instant curb appeal". Use clean, sturdy boxes with minimal or no evidence of prior use. The United States Postal Service provides free, eBay co-branded boxes which are not only free and sturdy, but clearly identify the contents as an item sold on eBay.
