Once you've set up your photo area with a neutral backdrop and arranged your lights for even diffuse lighting, it's time to start taking pictures! Center the item in the frame with just a little room around it for a border. Use your zoom and/or macro settings to frame the item properly. Set the camera's resolution or picture quality at or near its highest possible setting. Here are some additional tips:

Use a tripod for sharp and steady pictures.

Keep things simple. Focus on the item.

Try multiple angles and distances to give a complete view of the item.

Use your macro setting for close-ups.

Take good pictures of any flaws or damage so buyers are fully aware of the condition before bidding or buying.

Take lots of photos so you can pick the best ones later.
